Divergent reflections around the photon sphere of a black hole

چکیده

Abstract From any location outside the event horizon of a black hole there are an infinite number trajectories for light to observer. Each these paths differ in orbits revolved around and their proximity last photon orbit. With simple numerical perturbed analytical solution null-geodesic equation Schwarzschild we will reaffirm how each additional orbit is factor $$e^{2 \pi }$$ e 2 π closer hole’s optical edge. Consequently, surface background be mirrored infinitely exponentially thinner slices Furthermore, introduced formalism proves entire strong field limit prescribed by diverging converging exponential. Lastly, existence exponential family generalized equatorial plane Kerr with exponentials dependence on spin derived. Thereby, proving that distance between subsequent images increases decreases respectively retrograde prograde images. In extremely rotating no logarithmic divergence exists trajectories.

Violent Relaxation Around a Massive Black Hole

I present galaxy models resulting from violent relaxation in the presence of a pre-existing black hole. The models are computed by maximizing the entropy of the stellar dynamical system. I show that their properties are very similar to those of adiabatic growth models for a suitable choice of parameters. This suggests that observations of nuclear light profiles and kinematics alone may not be s...

Thick Domain Walls around a Black Hole

We discuss the gravitationally interacting system of a thick domain wall and a black hole. We numerically solve the scalar field equation in the Schwarzschild spacetime and obtain a sequence of static axi-symmetric solutions representing thick domain walls. We find that, for the walls near the horizon, the Nambu–Goto approximation is no longer valid.

The Dynamical Stability of Tori around a Schwarzschild Black Hole

Recently, geometrically thick disks around black holes have been studied by many authors. I) These models may exist in the inner region of accretion disks and explain the generation of high luminosity and colliminated jets in quasers and active galactic nuclei. In such tori, there is no reason for the rotation law to be Keplerian as pressure force plays a role in the equilibrium structure. Thes...

Distribution of black hole binaries around galaxies

Compact object mergers are one of the favorite models of GRBs. It has been noted that in opposition to the collapsars, compact object mergers do not necessarily take place in the host galaxies, and may travel outside of them. With the discovery of afterglows and identification of host galaxies one can measure the distribution of GRBs with respect to their host galaxies. This distribution has be...

The Efficiency of Resonant Relaxation around a Massive Black Hole

Resonant relaxation (RR) is a rapid relaxation process that operates in the nearly-Keplerian potential near a massive black hole (MBH). RR dominates the dynamics of compact remnants that inspiral into a MBH and emit gravitational waves (extreme mass ratio inspiral events, EMRIs). RR can either increase the EMRI rate, or strongly suppress it, depending on its still poorly-determined efficiency. ...
